Crystal beaded bug

Let your creativity go wild with these little critters!

What you will need:

Wire (20 gauge)
Ruler
Wire cutters
Multi-faceted plastic beads (6mm & 8mm)
Needle-nose pliers

Cut an 18-inch length of wire and fold it in half. Using the pliers, make a small curl near the bend to make the tip of the tail. From the other end, slide five of the 6mm beads onto the doubled wire. Next, add two of the 8mm beads, followed by two of the 6mm beads and then one 8mm bead.

Bend the wire so that the last three beads make up the head and neck. Take the end of each wire and bend it to make the antennas. Cut three 3½-inch pieces of wire. Wrap the center of each wire around the body wire between beads and then shape the feet so that the bug stands on its own.
