Your children can make their own characters for pretend play! This eco-friendly craft comes courtesy of Habitat for Humanity Desert Foothills.
Supplies: Cardboard toilet paper or paper towel rolls, yarn, construction paper, glue, paint, googley eyes, beads, small buttons or any decorative items you have lying around.
Instructions: Paint a paper tube to look like a person, creating clothing, and a face. Using construction paper, cut a heart-shaped piece for the shoes and a long slender piece for the arms.
Glue the slender piece to the back and wrap arms around to the front and position/glue to your liking. Cut out and glue on strips of paper or yarn for hair. To add more pizzazz to your T.P. People, add googley eyes, beads, small buttons or jewels.
