Flip Dunk Sports, a Phoenix trampoline and gymnastics center, is hosting “Jump for Hope” Friday to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
The event has been organized in remembrance of Amanda Hope Gavin, a student at Madison Meadows Middle School who lost her battle with cancer just before her 13th birthday.
A special VIP hour will be held from from 6:30 to 7:30pm for donations of $50 per person. From 8 to 10pm, registration is $25 per person for a one-hour jump.
Special activities include a photo booth, face painting, hair styling and appearances by The Phoenix Suns Gorilla.
A remembrance ceremony for Amanda and all other victims of cancer will be held at 7:45pm.
Space is limited and reservations are required. When you call, be sure to specify which hour you would like to jump — 8 to 9pm or 9 to 10pm. Everyone must sign a waiver to use the equipment. Flip Dunk Sports is located at 1515 E. Bethany Home Rd. in Phoenix. 602-277-0067 or flipdunksports.com.
