Team Orthodontics and Jungle Roots Children’s Dentistry have joined forces to open a new location offering coordinated, one-stop pediatric dental and orthodontic care for patients 18 months to 18 years old. The new location is in San Tan Village mall in Gilbert.
Ken Danyluk, DMD, of Team Orthodontics, is an expert in lingual orthodontics — “invisible” braces applied to the inside surface of the teeth. John Culp, DMD, of Jungle Roots Children’s Dentistry, has provided comprehensive pediatric dental care for more than 18 years. Both operate separate Ahwatukee practices.
“Dr. Culp and I have worked together for nearly a decade and are thrilled to launch this new convenient concept for our patients and their families,” says Danyluk. “The benefits will include the elimination of multiple trips for dental cleanings and orthodontic adjustments and coordinated care including preventative orthodontic treatments for young children to lessen or eliminate the need for braces in their teens.”
The new practice offers state-of-the-art digital imaging technology and access to Team Orthodontics’ in-house laboratory in Ahwatukee to provide precise results and quick turnaround times for patients. The 2,900-square-foot space features a unique Indiana Jones-themed video arcade, snacks and drinks for kids, a coffee bar for adults and a 10×10″ video wall. A complimentary school shuttle will take children to and from appointments for local patients. Parents who take advantage of the time during their children’s appointments to shop at San Tan Village will get a text message when their kids are done.
“There are so many synergies between our practices, and the hundreds of kids and their parents we have referred to Team Orthodontics over the years have been delighted with their results,” says Culp. “We look forward to combining efforts and providing the best dental and orthodontic experience available.”
The new location replaces Team Orthodontics’ Gilbert practice and is located near the main entrance of San Tan Village on Williams Field Road. Adult orthodontic patients also can take advantage of the new location and will have the option of a private adult treatment area.
