Personalize your child’s pencils!
Cut a strip of tissue paper four inches long and as wide as the yellow part of an unsharpened pencil. Brush school glue onto one side of the piece of tissue paper.
Place the pencil on the long end of the tissue paper and begin rolling. Stop periodically to press the tissue paper firmly against the pencil, keeping any bubbles from forming.
Once the tissue paper is all rolled up, lightly brush on more glue to seal the paper. Let it dry completely then sharpen as you would a normal pencil.
