Turn recycled cans into harvest drums

recycled cans, drums, crafts for kids, Raising Arizona Kids, PagingSupermom.com

Little ones will enjoy keeping a beat on these tribe-inspired drums. Made from balloons and recycled cans, they’re a perfect centerpiece for the kids table at a Thanksgiving feast.

• Gather and clean open cans in various sizes.
• Cut and discard the skinny neck off a balloon and stretch the larger piece over the can’s opening.
• Secure with a rubber band or tape. (A 12-inch balloon will cover a 15- or 28-ounce can.) To cover oversized no. 10 cans, you can find larger 24-inch balloons at a party store.
• Finish with the free printable can wrap download from PagingSupermom.com.
