Tin can craft is a wrap!

If being better organized is on your list of New Year’s resolutions, then these fuzzy, catch-all cans might come in handy as pretty organizers. All you need is a clean can, yarn and glue.

Prepare the can by removing the label and cleaning inside and out, ensuring there are no sharp edges. Begin decorating by running a line of glue along the side of the can from top to bottom. Add another ring of glue along the bottom of the can. Using a ball of yarn, press the end strand on the glue at the bottom of the can. Hold the end in place and wrap it around the can.

Continue wrapping, pressing the yarn into the line of glue each time around. To begin a new color of yarn, trim the strand and glue the end down. Then add glue to the end of the next color and press down where the first color left off.

Hold the new end in place and wrap around the can. Continue wrapping until the entire can is covered. Clip the yarn and secure the end with more glue.
