I had the good fortune of picking up this book at the end of a particularly trying day with my kids. I am happy to report that—only a few pages in—tears of laughter started to replace the tears of despair and misery that had hitherto been streaming down my cheeks.
Seriously, though, The Big Book of Parenting Tweets is seriously funny. Edited by three professional bloggers—Kate Hall, Norine Dworkin-McDaniel and Jessica Ziegler—the book is a collection of more than 300 hilarious tweets about the absurdity of parenting. It’s perfect for the busy mom or dad who is short on reading time, because tweets are limited to 140 characters. And if you are Twitter impaired like me, it’s nice to get your tweets the old-fashioned way: in a book. (Wait, what?)
The Big Book of Parenting Tweets will make you LOL IRL and want to RT everything. More than that, it will remind you that you are not alone, you are not crazy and you are not the only one trying unsuccessfully to impose logic on tiny humans.
That validation alone is worth the money. Available at amazon.com.
