Offers in-depth, personalized college planning assistance. Free orientation classes explain how colleges operate, what they are looking for in prospective students and how families can be educated shoppers. Subsequent one-on-one consultations help families plan for financial aid opportunities. Services include use of a proprietary college-matching tool and completion of all required college forms.

More than 2,400 square feet of space on the library's second floor is devoted to college planning. College Depot offers access to 25 public computers loaded with college-planning software, a small conference room with a flat-screen TV (to show DVDs sent by colleges), a multipurpose workshop room and chairs that feature swivel tops for taking notes or using a laptop. Two workstations with Internet and telephone access are designed for use by recruiters visiting from colleges and universities. One-on-one meetings with recruiters can be scheduled through the staff.

A "virtual" college fair, with hundreds of colleges and universities from around the world and tens of thousands of students participating. CollegeWeekLive brings together students, parents, counselors and colleges online to interact, transcending time and distance. It is free to attendees, who can watch admissions experts speak (on topics such as how to prepare for the SAT, how to write a winning application essay or how to pay for college) and have questions answered via live chat or video chat with college students who can explain what campus life is really like.

Offers preparation for more than 90 standardized tests, including entrance exams for secondary school, college and graduate school, as well as English language and professional licensing exams. Kaplan also provides private tutoring and graduate admissions consulting services.
