Accompanying activity kits will be available to purchase for $5 beginning one week prior to the scheduled date of the virtual storytelling video.
Each week features a different book and craft:
July 18 – “Panda Proud!” by Phoebe Fox and illustrated by Michael Hale. Follow bumbly, tumbly Panda who is worried she’ll trip and fall in the upcoming fashion show. Knowing her best friend needs her, she is determined to make him proud. Order the craft kit.
July 25 – “Green on Green” by Dianne White. Follow a child on a colorful journey through the seasons — yellow flowers and blue coral in spring and summer, orange pumpkins and green pine forests in fall and winter. All the while, there is another colorful change on the horizon — the birth of a new sibling. Order the craft kit.
Aug. 1 – “What Do You Do When the Couch Eats Your Shoe?” by Debi Novotny. Matthew realizes his favorite superhero is missing, so he takes his dog on a mission to find it. They search the whole house together, only to discover unimaginable surprises. Order the craft kit.
Aug. 8 – “Saved by the Burp” by Rodo Sofranac. Follow Rogilla the Gorilla, the zoo’s most popular resident. At heart, she’s like a human kid. She loves to play, eat, drink, and play some more. One night she gets out of her enclosure and decides to eat and drink like a human kid. What happens when she does? Order the craft kit.
