Animal Ed-Ventures At Home Kits offer kids ages 8-12 a surprise box that allows them to explore the world of animals through hands-on crafts, activities, learning opportunities, links for online videos, virtual classroom opportunities and animal meet-and-greets from AHS’ Animal Ambassadors.

Themes such as Regal Mutts and Snakes & Lizards will dive into areas such as animal genetics and the slithering, slinking world of our reptile friends. Carrie Curran Art Studios is offering a virtual version of Young Vincents Fine Art Summer Camp for ages 6-13. Weekly themes will follow the concurrent in-studio schedule and feature drawing, painting, mixed media and sculpture. The Children’s Museum of Phoenix Camp in a Box, for ages 4-10, is a summer-camp-at-home experience that will run in weekly sessions throughout June and July. “Just Sing!” is a five-day online camp offering dynamic courses for young singers. Campers will explore many genres, cultures and style of music and dance; sing and dance to the original choreography of “Just Sing” (from the Trolls: World Tour); create basic, yet inventive, instruments from materials found at home; learn from passionate, creative and dynamic teachers; engage with 2-3 hours of daily digital content and socialize with other campers during virtual meet-ups on Monday and Friday. Virtual Tech Camps will be project-based, with live instructors for two-hour blocks of time and additional project development work kids can self-pace from home. Classes will remain small (5:1 for teens, as low as 3:1 for the youngest students) and will emphasize collaborative work. Kids and teens will learn to code, design video games, mod Minecraft, create with Roblox, engineer robots, print 3D characters, work with AI and machine learning, and more. Leadership Society of Arizona, leadership camp, summer camp, Arizona, kids, summer campsThe Leadership Society of Arizona Logic and Leadership Virtual Academy for grades 7-12 is a fun and interactive virtual leadership camp offered through Arizona State University Online. Students will meet for one-hour classes four days a week for four weeks in a state-of-the-art virtual ballroom. Small-group discussion and activities make this experience unlike any other virtual learning platform. Students also can complete up to 20 hours of self-paced online courses (via footage from live lectures and ASU courses). Each week includes a 30-minute one-on-one virtual mentoring session with an LSA coach who is an industry-certified leadership development expert. Students will learn to set goals, apply leadership concepts, overcome challenges, and create more productive and enriching summer habits. Valley Youth Theatre has adapted its summer camp programming for the virtual space, offering fun, interactive camps for ages 5 and up.

Virtual All Stars Summer Camp (ages 5-8) offers a magical, virtual adventure each week, exploring the wildest jungle to the reaches of outer space through story telling, songs, crafts, creative drama and more. Children will learn to communicate, work as a team, build self-confidence, and fuel their passion for the performing arts. Limited to 7 students per week. One-week sessions on various themes, 10-11:30 a.m. daily, June 1-July 24. $175/week.

Virtual Musical Theatre Summer Camp (ages 9+) will take daily, virtual performing arts classes with VYT’s professional teaching artists. When students register, they will choose a focus (music, dance or acting) and work in groups to create originals works to be showcased (virtually) on the last day of camp. Two-week sessions, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily, June 15-26 or July 13-24. $375/session.
