Acker Night, a family-friendly event for 30 years, keeps music alive and thriving in downtown Prescott. Enjoy more than 500 performers — from music to dance — in local businesses as holiday shoppers enjoy the festive atmosphere. Did you know? J.S. Acker lived from 1865 to 1955. When he died, he donated "All the residue of my estate...to the City of Prescott to be used for parks and for promotion of music, particularly for children."
