The i.d.e.a. Museum and the Arizona Museum of Natural History will offer free admission from 6-10 p.m. on Friday, May 10, as part of the City of Mesa’s Museum Discovery series. Visitors can check out the museum's current show, Junkyard Jungle, which includes environmental-themed activities like creating wild animals; imaginary play as biologists, entomologists, zoologists and ecologists; and exploring the black light rainforest. Mesa Contemporary Art Museum, which is always free, will be celebrating the opening of five new exhibitions that evening, with a free public reception from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. FREE. i.d.e.a.
