Description

Turn your child's love of Minecraft into real writing skills. Mercer Homeschooling presents a four-week, in-person Minecraft Writers' Workshop for students ages 9–13. Each week, students complete a Minecraft "Game Goal" at home, then gather for hands-on, off-screen writing activities and discussion — building the foundations of strong writing along the way, from vivid description and point of view to narrative arc. The class is led by published writer, editor, and Brave Writer instructor Vida Mercer, and is limited to just 10 students for a personal experience. Held at Mustang Library in Scottsdale on Tuesdays in October. ESA funds accepted.
