In celebration of International Day of the Girl, Peoria is launching the Girl Powered program. Students in fourth grade through 12th with an interest in STEM are invited to the Peoria Main Library on Oct. 19 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. and on Oct. 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for fun hands-on activities. 8463 W.
