Arizona families across the state are invited to their neighborhood Bashas’ supermarket for fun-filled Halloween treats and activities. Children of all ages are invited to dress up and show off their costumes and trick-or-treat at candy stations, take lots of photos, get a free cookie from the bakery department and decorate a Halloween cake ($5 for one single-layer, eight-inch cake frosted in one color; comes with one cup of decorative candies, two small tubes of icing, two decorative Halloween picks, and some decorating ideas). Cake-decorating stations will be six feet apart, used by one family at a time and will be sanitized after each group leaves. Seasonal treats including Halloween candy, caramel apples, apple cider, and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies will be available for purchase. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at more than 40 Bashas' supermarket locations throughout the state, as well as Eddie’s Country Store in Pinetop and Food City locations in Parker and Lake Havasu City.

Good to know: The Halloween cake-decorating kits, and packages of eight undecorated cookies with icing, also can be purchased for at-home decorating.
