Somehow, we went from summer to the holiday season in a snap. If that’s not fast enough, we’re already looking ahead to the January issue of Raising Arizona Kids.

In January, we’ll welcome a new 2017 RAK Readers Advisory Panel — a dozen local parents who will be our informal sounding board. We’re looking for moms and dads who struggle with work-life balance like we do or who juggle parenting with a candid sense of humor. All we ask is that panel members share their opinions on what local parents need and want to know, and their thoughts on how RAK can better reach Arizona families.

Don’t worry — we know people are busy, so this panel will only convene once or twice in 2017 for short stints to brainstorm, network and chat. Throughout the year, we’ll introduce our panel members in mini bios and ask them timely questions — everything from their best parenting hacks (tips that makes parenting easier) to their hurdles, fears, triumphs or even best go-to kids gifts or favorite family haunts.

We’re asking anyone interested in our 2017 panel to send us an email letting us know why you would like to participate. Please send a brief bio and contact info to kara@RAKmagazine.com by Monday, Nov. 28. Panel members will get a free RAK magazine subscription or extension on their current subscription and will meet a fun group of parents and a dynamic team at RAK. We look forward to hearing from you!
