"Glee" in 3-D: An affirmation tale

"Romeo and Juliet" on Valley stages

Before traveling on Wednesday to the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Lynn Trimble got the scoop on a local production of "Romeo and Juliet" -- plus opportunities to enjoy "West Side Story," a modern twist on the classic story of love amidst rivalry. She'll be blogging the rest of this week from Cedar CIty, where she's seeing six productions, including "Romeo and Juliet," with her daughter Lizabeth.

Film finds

It's easy to find popular movies at your local theater, but Lynn Trimbles knows of several Valley venues offering more unexpected fare. It's okay to leave the kids behind now and then to enjoy a film with no talking animals or flying nannies.

Theater by the numbers
