About Forgotten Island

High school graduates Jo and Raissa have been best friends since grade school, but they’re about to head down separate paths. While celebrating their last night together, the two stumble upon a mysterious portal that transports them to Nakali — a fantastical island filled with magical and mythological creatures they’ve grown up hearing about from their Filipino families.
With the help of the well-meaning (but slightly hapless) weredog Raww and a small-but-mighty group of new friends, Jo and Raissa must find their way home while facing some of the island’s most fearsome creatures.
But there’s a catch: the price of returning home may be the memories of their entire friendship.
Now the best friends must race to escape the island before they forget each other forever.
Forgotten Island is written and directed by Academy Award® nominee Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado, the filmmaking team behind Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
The voice cast includes H.E.R., Liza Soberano, Dave Franco, Jenny Slate, Manny Jacinto, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy, Ronny Chieng and Lea Salonga.
