For children who are interested in learning and playing flag football this year, the Valley of the Sun J community center in Scottsdale will host a fun, FREE introductory flag football class on Sunday, Aug. 23, from 9 to 10 a.m. This complimentary class is open to children of all skill levels in grades 1-8. Whether your child is stepping onto the field for the first time or looking to sharpen their skills, this class will give kids the opportunity to learn the basics of the game, build new skills, and experience the fun and teamwork of flag football.

The Valley of the Sun J is starting a new Valley Youth Flag Football program that will kick off this October. This new program will give children the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of flag football, make new friends, help them build confidence, and have a lot of fun in a positive team environment.
