Description

NOIRLab is inviting the public ages 6 and older to a FREE visit to the NOIRLab Headquarters the 1st Friday of every month! Come learn about astronomical research/engineering activities. RSVP is required. A minimum of 24 hours notice is necessary for scheduled public visit requests. Tours are limited to 15 visitors per tour.
The visitors will be led on a walking tour of the NOIRLab Headquarters and a presentation on NOIRLab and its facilities will take place in the Main Conference Room. Visitors will have the opportunity to view the Sun through safe solar telescopes (weather permitting).

Note:

• Visits may be canceled due to operational or practical circumstances, in which case you will be notified by email as soon as we determine that a visit can not take place.
• Closed-toed shoes are mandatory.
• Pets are not allowed.
• Minors under six years old are not permitted.
• The tour is in English.
• You must read and comply with our regulations. A form will need to be signed before sending your visit request.
