Description

International Museum Day was created to raise awareness that museums are an important means of cultural exchange and understanding. Several local museums are participating with special offers, including:

• Register for free admission at Pueblo Grande Museum near downtown Phoenix (located on a 1,500-year-old archaeological site once inhabited by the Hohokam). Explore interpretative stations, kids crafts, and an artifact show-and-tell.
• Two-for-one admission at the i.d.e.a. Museum in Mesa --- a kid-focused museum of discovery and art.
