Fall 2025 Exhibitions:
Sept. 12–Dec. 14, 2025
“Duality” Yuko Yabuki
Yabuki presents her worldview in “Duality,” exploring two opposite forces in balance. Their energy creates a helix that uplifts us to the future. Every end leads to a new beginning, showing constant evolution through opposing forces in movement, shaping our destiny and the cosmos.
Sept. 12, 2025–Jan. 4, 2026
“Cut, Crumpled, Remembered” Jennie Sweo
Working with ink and paper manipulation, Sweo’s works deal with portraiture. On the surface, she presents a likeness of her subject, yet embedded in her renderings are the relationships between the subject and herself. Her works serve as mementos, a means of self-expression and an exploration of new and imagined forms of representation.
Sept. 12, 2025–Jan. 11, 2026
“Curated Chaos: 20 Years of Collecting”
In celebration of Mesa Arts Center’s 20th Anniversary, “Curated Chaos” reveals the evocative, whimsical, striking, beautiful — and occasionally strange — 2-D artworks that constitute the collections at Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum. Artworks for this exhibition were collaboratively selected by the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum team.
Sept. 12, 2025–Jan. 18, 2026
“TAKE OVER” Red Floor Gallery
Tempe’s former Red Floor Gallery is returning for an encore exhibition featuring over 80 regional artists from across the valley including a special installation of La Pequeña Galeria.
Sept. 12, 2025–Jan. 25, 2026
“of fog” Melissa Haviland
“of fog” is a hanging installation of 2,000+ shaped and watermarked handmade paper sheets from indigo-dyed linen, cottons and ribbon. Haviland’s practice of repetition and pattern in multiples fills the space and surrounds the viewer.
