Enjoy fried foods, thrill rides and master carnival games, special exhibits, petting zoos and concerts, including The Cult, Pat Benetar and M.C. Hammer at this year's state fair. Hours are noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday; noon to 10 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Oct. 28. Tickets are $12; $8 ages 5-13; free for ages 4 and younger.
