Description

"Nutcracker Tailgate" is a festive, prerecorded Dance Theater West performance that will be displayed on an Outdoor Movie Magic big screen in the dance studio's west parking lot. According to DTW founder Susie Silverman, the purpose of the event is "to offer the girls an opportunity to perform and be distracted through these times and get that word out that we’re still here loving the chance to dance."

Arrive anytime after 5 p.m., when you can enjoy music, dance and fun with Spire Health Club and Arizona Sunrays Gymnastics. The show starts at 6 p.m. and features short videos by The Academy of the Storybook Ballet Company: "The Making of the Nutcracker," "The Nutcracker in the Garden," and "Sleeping Beauty."

Admission is free. Cookie Brokers will have goodies for sale or you can bring your own. Security will be provided by an off-duty Phoenix Police Officer/dance dad.
