Phoenix Fan Fusion (May 23-26). This four day entertainment and comic book convention is filled with costumes, workshops, activities, shopping and some of the best people-watching ever! Celebrity guests this year include Elijah Wood (Frodo Baggins of “Lord of the Rings” trilogy) and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom from the Harry Potter franchise). 2-8 p.m. Thursday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. $20-$350; $10 for ages 3-12; free for ages 2 and younger.
