This event honors all the men and women who have served our nation. As a Native American Recognition Days event, this occasion offers a unique chance for everyone, in addition to veterans, to enjoy Native American ceremonial dance, art, and culture at a preserved prehistoric site once inhabited by the Ancestral Sonoran Desert People (Hohokam). Gourd dancing is conducted by the Arizona Territory Gourd Society, a nonprofit group of American Indian United States War Veterans and their families.

This event is free and open to the public, sponsored in part by the Pueblo Grande Museum Auxiliary. In honor of the Veterans Day holiday, museum admission is free from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
