Sharlot Hall Museum in Prescott transports visitors to a simpler time when its shade-covered campus becomes a 19th century Arizona village featuring themed districts and emphasizing education, demonstrations and hands-on experiences. Children can try traditional crafts and cooking, including popcorn and Dutch-oven baked biscuits with freshly churned butter. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. $12; free for ages 17 and younger.
