Sedona Running Company presents the Turkey Trot 5K, an out-and-back loop course on Soldier Pass Road. Runners looking for a challenge can enter the Iron Turkey Challenge, which involves running (or walking) the entire race carrying your Thanksgiving turkey (if it's not already in the oven). 9 a.m. Thursday. $35-$40.
