St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer (Sept. 28). This event benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food, and successful treatments are shared with doctors around the world fighting childhood cancer. 7:45 a.m. registration, 9 a.m. walk.
