Description

Arizona Heritage Center at Papago Park in Tempe reopens to the public today, with new hours, policies and safety procedures for guests, visitors, and staff. New hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Current exhibitions include "Still Marching: From Suffrage to #MeToo," which examines women’s protest movements during the past century. Permanent exhibits explore Arizona history in the 20th century from Arizona’s role in World War II to the post-war population boom, and beyond.

Guests are encouraged to purchase admission online starting June 12. Visits will be limited to 90 minutes, with extensions upon request and availability.

Masks or face coverings for museum guests, vendors, and visitors are highly encouraged but not required. AHS staff will be wearing face coverings. Drinking fountains will be closed, but guests will be allowed to bring personal water bottles inside the museum. Bottled water will be available for purchase.
