For many Valley families, the financial burdens of preparing a child for
the new school year can be overwhelming. As a result, health-related needs such as preventive screenings, sports physicals, and vaccinations may get missed. In its continued effort to serve the greater Phoenix community and help students and their families prepare for the new school year, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Arizona will host its 18th annual Back-to-School Health Fair on Saturday, July 20.

The event, which is open to the public, will provide kids with basic health, mental health, and dental screenings, as well as immunizations, sports physicals, and so much more. Additionally, the first 1,000 children through the doors will receive new backpacks filled with school supplies.
