CREATE at Arizona Science Center® is where science, design, and engineering collide! Inspired by the productivity of an inventor’s workshop, the creativity of an art studio, and the experimentation of a lab, CREATE is a 6,500 square-foot community hub for turning dreams into reality.
At CREATE, people of all ages can share ideas, collaborate on projects and learn about science, technology, engineering, math, and art through making. By using state-of-the-art, computer-controlled equipment and traditional crafting tools, visitors will have the chance to cut, saw, code, hammer, sew, paint, solder and much more! azscience.org
Weekly Rotating Mini Workshops
2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday – Thursday. 11a.m. to noon & 2 to 3 p.m. Friday – Saturday.
- Tag Keepsake (February 21-25). Explore the basics of 3D printing at this family-friendly mini workshop! Add a personal touch to premade tag keepsakes—a perfect introduction to 3D printing. $10 for Members & $12 for Non-Members
- Holographic Projection Box (February 28 – March 4). Create a holographic optical illusion during this family-friendly mini work. $12 for Members & $15 for Non-Members
- Under The Hood, Engineered By Subaru. Ever wondered what goes on under the hood of your car? Discover the world of automotive science with Under the Hood, Engineered by Subaru! Explore the mechanics of an engine, learn how vehicles are designed and assembled, engineer the fastest car possible to test your skills on the track, and more.
- Rotating Drop-In Activities. Each month, explore a different, engaging CREATE activity! Embrace your inner engineer, tinkerer and creator and enjoy this FREE mini-workshop. Visit CREATE each Saturday to see what there is to explore.This activity is FREE with your Arizona Science Center general admission ticket.
- Imagination Station. What can you create with cardboard boxes? The limit is your very own imagination! From forts to magical creatures and everything in between, this creator's paradise is the perfect place to start when you visit CREATE.
