Postpartum Support International (there is an Arizona chapter) is the world’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to helping those suffering from perinatal mood disorders, the most common complication of childbirth. And you don’t have to be pregnant – or planning a pregnancy – to qualify. Simply take a five-question online quiz that’s part fun, part awareness building. The Arizona Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program is a supplemental nutrition program that provides healthy foods and breastfeeding supplies to pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, infants and children under the age of 5 who are at nutritional risk and who are at or below 185 percent of the federal poverty guidelines.
