1 head of green cabbage
1 cucumber
1 red bell pepper
1 stalk of celery
1 bag of baby carrots
Cherry tomatoes
Sliced mushrooms
Vegetable dip (recipe follows)
Slice the cucumber and arrange on a large platter in a line – this is the spine. Slice the red pepper and lay it on either side of the cucumbers to make the ribs.
Line up the mushrooms at the end of the cucumbers to make the hip bones. Then take pieces of celery to make the assorted bones, using cherry tomatoes as joints. Use the baby carrots as hands and feet. Hollow out the middle of the cabbage and place your dip inside — this is the head. Have fun designing your skeleton!
Veggie Dip
2/3 cup mayonnaise
2/3 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon dill weed
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
4-5 drops Tabasco sauce
Mix all ingredients well. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
