Thanksgiving groceries can add up quickly, especially when you’re feeding a family. Fortunately, food banks, churches, businesses and community organizations across Arizona are stepping up to help families put a holiday meal on the table.
We’ve rounded up free turkey giveaways, Thanksgiving grocery distributions and prepared holiday meals throughout Arizona, including Phoenix, Tucson, the East and West Valleys, Northern Arizona and smaller communities across the state. This list has been updated for 2026.
Some events are first come, first served, while others require advance registration, identification or proof of address. We’ve included those details whenever available.
Please check with each organization before heading out. Supplies are limited, registration can fill quickly and some organizations are still finalizing their Thanksgiving schedules.
