How preschoolers can paint their own fireworks

Kids are fascinated by fireworks! Continue the fun well past the 4th of July with this  painting project, a Raising Arizona Kids exclusive from Phoenix mom/crafter Mandy Bopp.

You’ll need:

Brightly colored paints
Black construction paper
Empty toilet paper rolls
Scissors

Start by cutting slits around the entire edge of the toilet paper roll. Spread the cut section open to create a fireworks shape.

Pour a generous amount of paint onto a plate. Have your child dip the toilet paper roll in the paint then press it onto the black construction paper.

Repeat until the page is covered.
