How preschoolers can paint their own fireworks

Kids are fascinated by fireworks! Continue the fun well past the 4th of July with this  painting project, a Raising Arizona Kids exclusive from Phoenix mom/crafter Mandy Bopp.

You’ll need:

Brightly colored paints
Black construction paper
Empty toilet paper rolls

Start by cutting slits around the entire edge of the toilet paper roll. Spread the cut section open to create a fireworks shape.
Pour a generous amount of paint onto a plate. Have your child dip the toilet paper roll in the paint then press it onto the black construction paper.
Repeat until the page is covered.
