1 can fruit pie filling
1 package egg roll wrappers
1 cup water
Powdered sugar
Cinnamon
Oil for deep frying
Heat oil in a pan. Place a tablespoon of fruit filling in a wrapper. Brush the edges with water. Fold in half, from corner to corner. Pull the corners on the side to the middle and use a little water to help them hold.
Fry until golden brown; this happens quickly, so keep an eye on it. Once browned, remove from oil and sprinkle with powdered sugar and/or cinnamon. Hint: Fry the pies as soon as you make them; the dough will get soft if it sits.
