While on the factory tour at Glendale-based Cerreta Candy Company, Calendar & Directories Editor Mala Blomquist and her daughter Solvay learned how to make this fun treat.
¼ cup white chocolate chips
32 pretzel sticks
16 yellow M&Ms
Place aluminum foil or waxed paper on a cookie sheet. Line up four pretzel sticks (the bacon) side by side.
Place the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat on high for 30 seconds. (If not completely melted, heat at 10-second intervals until smooth).
Using a spoon, drop melted white chocolate onto the middle of the pretzels (the egg whites). Immediately place two yellow M&Ms (the egg yolks) onto the white chocolate.
Place cookie sheet into the refrigerator until hardened. Makes eight treats.
