“The spread of COVID-19 may necessitate changes in the way we learn, but it does not change our desire to do so.” – Michael M. Crow, ASU President
In order to support students and families during these challenging times, ASU has put together ASU for You, a library of resources to help keep all learners on track during the transition to remote learning.
We have gathered some of our most valuable learning tools in one place to meet learners where they are, both in terms of physical location and educational needs.
ASU For You includes many learning tools at no cost such as virtual field trips; library access; video lessons, K-12 labs and simulations; live tutoring, online courses and training videos for teachers or parents teaching from home; and courses for college credit.
“This is something we have been preparing to do over the past several months and conditions in the world today have encouraged us to move more aggressively on this front,” said ASU President Michael M. Crow. “We feel very strongly that it is important for people to continue to move forward doing whatever they can do to take actions that will improve their life.”
The ASU for You platform is available not only for learners, but also for parents and educators, providing tools from ASU Prep Digital and assets from the Inspark Teaching Network and the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. Teachers and families can find assistance in each of these environments to help them deliver education in a remote learning modality. Virtual Field Trips are also available, giving people a way to experience new places without ever leaving home.
